This WM 201 corner guard, 1-5/16", measures 1.312" in width by 1.312" in thickness. We recommend using 1-9/16" wide blanks of five-quarter lumber for milling with commercial machinery. The traditional outside corner comprises three recessed 9/64" quarter-round beads on all exposed edges. The backside is rabbeted one inch wide by one inch tall. The detail is primarily used to protect vulnerable areas in a room or anywhere else an exposed ninety-degree corner requires shielding.
