This modern 6-3/4" handrail measures 3.000" wide by 6.750" tall, requiring a 7" wide blank of fourteen-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial milling machine. The moulding knife design enables various obtainable widths with an easy radial adjustment of the left cutter head. The contemporary symmetrical design comprises a 1/2" tall bidirectional 18.435-degree beveled top with 3/64" eased corners. Both sides retain a 3/4" tall vertical fillet joined to a 2-1/4" tall finger grip area consisting of two different-sized decorative half-circles divided by short line segments in the center. The middle tapers outwards 1/2" to the full width for the lower portion of the design.
