This institutional 5" - 17 handrail measures 5.000" wide by 1.500" thickness. The profile consists of four 3/8" radius edges for comfort and appeal with two finger grip areas that are positioned on each face side of the moulding 1-1/2" on center from the top. The larger concave gripping area measures .937" wide by .625" deep and the smaller cavetto measures 3/4" wide by 1/4" depth both of which are code compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for use in public homes or office buildings.
