Handrail 3-9/16"

This stylish 3-9/16" handrail measures 3.562" in width by 1.593" in thickness, requiring 3-13/16" wide blanks of glued-up four-quarter or solid eight-quarter lumber for machining with a commercial moulder. The custom pattern combines luxury & architecture to satisfy many sophisticated clients. It comprises a 1/8" rounded point tangent to two 7.184 degrees down-sloped lines on the top center. Both right and left sides have a short vertical line segment connected to a 1/2" radius convex arc in the upper section. The lower portion retains a 1/16" tall by 5/32" deeply sunk fillet and a decorative 1/4" half-round bead on the corners. The bottom has a two-inch wide by 1/4" deep dado for balusters, leaving a 25/32" flat section on each side of the plow.
