This oval-shaped 3-1/2" - 7 handrail comprises three tangent radiuses forming the convex arch on top. The sides retain 1-7/32" convex semicircles, and the bottom is plowed 1-19/32" in width by 11/16" deep for mounting hardware. The detail measures 3.500" in width by 2-7/16" in thickness. The recommended rough wood rip size is 3-7/8" wide using glued-up lumber.
