Handrail 3-1/2" - 21

This beautifully large 3-1/2" - 21 handrail measures 3.500" wide by 3" thick, requiring the use of glued-up pieces of four, five, or six-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The elegant profile is composed of a 2-9/16" radius arc on the top, tangent to a series of wave-like concave and convex semicircular pieces creating a firm gripping area in the center of the design, the lower section consists of a beveled line with a 1/8" eased edge and a 5/16" tall vertical line segment, the bottom retains a 2-1/2" wide by 3/8" deep dado for the balusters.
