Handrail 3-1/4" - 3
This attractive 3-1/4" - 3 handrail measures 3.250" wide by 2.250" thickness, enabling the pattern to be machined out of glued-up pieces of four-, five-, or six-quarter lumber. The prepossessing profile consists of a three-tangent radius convex arc on top. The symmetrical sides contain a 3/8" convex arc and a 17/64" concave semicircle, tangent to an inward-angled line in the center. The lower portion retains decorative, outward angled lines with a 3/64" eased edge. The bottom has a 1-9/16" wide by 5/16" deep dado for inserting balusters, leaving a 7/16" shoulder on each edge of the design.
