Handrail 3-1/4" - 12

This gorgeous 3-1/4" - 12 handrail measures 3.250" wide by 3.093" thickness, enabling the pattern to be machined out of glued-up pieces of four, five, six, and even eight quarter lumber. The opulent profile consists of a 25/32" radius convex arc, tangent to two 1-17/32" concave semicircles on top. The symmetrical sides contain a one inch tall half round flanked by a small vertical line segment. Joined to a 15/16" vertical congee derived from a 15/16" radius cove, creating the finger gripping area in the center. The lower portion retains a decorative, slightly obtuse lines with a 9/32" tall bead and a 3/16" tall line. The bottom has a 1-1/2" wide by 5/16" deep dado for inserting balusters, leaving an 11/32" shoulder on each edge of the design.
