Handrail 3" - 5

This colonial 3" - 5 handrail measures 3.000" width by 3.000" thickness, necessitating the use of glued-up pieces of four, five, six, or eight-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial molder. The elegant pattern contains a 25/64" radius point tangent to two shallow 3-13/16" concave arcs on the top. The lovely sides consist of a 3/8" tall half-circle flaked by vertical fillet in the upper portion. This area connects to a sumptuous s-shaped curvature, forming the finger grip area in the center. Attached to a decorative set of perpendicular stepped lines in the lower portion of the design. The plow dimension for the balusters on the bottom is 1-3/4" wide by 3/8" deep, leaving an 11/32" width measurement on each side edge of the dado.
