6400 Handrail 3" - 30
This lovely 3" - 30/6400 handrail measures 3.000" wide by 2.250" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined out of four, five, or six-quarter lumber. The beautiful profile is composed of a combination of half-round beads, fillets, quirks, and a scotia cleverly utilized as a comfortable gripping area; the top consists of a bidirectional shallow three tangent radius cyma reversa with 3/64" eased edges. This particular detail can be produced in many different sizes and widths. Only the top portion of the profile would need to be redesigned if alternative widths were desired.
