This luxurious 3" - 27 handrail measures 3.000" width by 1.750" thickness, enabling the use of solid eight-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial molder. The beautiful, stylish pattern contains a shallow bidirectional wave-like curvature with a 3/32" vertical step on top. Both sides consist of a 27/64" convex arc tangent to a 63/64" concave semicircle, creating an elegant ear-shaped finger grip area with 1/16" rolled corners in the lower portion. The plow dimension for the baluster on the bottom is 1-3/8" wide by 1/4" deep, leaving a 3/8" width measurement on each side edge of the dado.
