This elegant 3" - 19 handrail measures 3.000" wide by 3.500" tall, necessitating the use of glued-up four-quarter lumber to make a rough moulding blank 3-1/4" wide by 3-3/4" tall for milling on an industrial molder. The gorgeous symmetrical profile is composed of a bidirectional two tangent radius wave like cyma reversa with 3/64" eased edges on top, each side consists of a quarter circle flanked by a vertical line and a 1/4" radius cove making a sturdy finger grip area, connected to a tiny horizontal line that merges with a 1-25/32" tall vertical line segment in the center, joined to a small decorative bead, tiny vertical fillet and a 1/4" cove at the bottom of the pattern.
