This contemporary 2-3/4" - 5 handrail measures 2.750" wide by 1-3/4" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined out of eight-quarter lumber. The knives are designed to be milled from the right & left side vertical cutter heads, and this allows custom width changes to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to cut the pattern. The modest symmetrical profile is composed of a two 1/2" rounded edges on top, the side finger grip area consists of a 55/64" tall concave semicircle and a 9/32" tall straight line with a 1/8" round-over on the bottom edges.
