Handrail 2-3/4" - 38

This modern 2-3/4"- 38 handrail measures 2.750" wide by 2-1/4" tall. The detail will require the use of glued-up pieces of five, six, or eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial-grade molder. The unique contemporary profile contains a 1/16" rounded point flanked by two 5.206 degree bidirectional angled lines on the top center. The side consists of a 1/4" vertical line with a 1/16" eased edge that tapers inward 15.945 degrees to a 1/2" tall sunk fillet, this creates the finger grip area when utilizing the railing. The lower portion tapers outward to full width with an additional 1/16" rounded point. The dado dimension on the bottom for the balusters is 1-1/2" broad by 3/8" deep, leaving a 5/8" width measurement on each side edge of the design.
