6210 Handrail 2-3/4" - 33

This standard 2-3/4" - 33 (6210) handrail measures 2.750" wide by 2.375" tall. The detail will require glued-up pieces of four, five, six, or eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The width is variable because the wood gets machined from the left and right vertical cutterheads. The traditional symmetrical bread loaf profile contains a flat surface on the top; the sides have a 9/16" convex arc tangent from a 1-1/2" concave semicircle that creates a comfortable finger grip area in the center merged with a decorative 5/16" tall half bead and a 3/8" fillet with 3/64" eased edges on the bottom edges of the design.
