This beautifully elegant 2-11/16" - 3 handrail measures 2.687" wide by 2-3/78" tall; it will take glued-up pieces of four or five-quarter lumber to make a wooden blank big enough for this detail to be milled on an industrial molder. The embellished profile is composed of a 1-37/64" semicircular arc on the top, tangent off of two 3/32" radius points on the sides, connected to a 3/8" concave gripping area with a 1/8" vertical line segment and a 7/16" half circle, joined to a 13/64" cove that transitions the sides back to a full 2-11/16" width, the bottom dado for the balusters or balustrade measures 1-1/2" wide by 1/4" deep.
