This beautiful 2-9/16" - 1 handrail measures 2.562" wide by 2.312" thick, allowing the detail to be machined out of three pieces of glued four-quarter lumber. The unique mushroom-shaped profile is composed of three tangent radiuses that create the triangular-shaped top, connected to 9/16" tall half-round circles at the widest point that transition inward, creating a firm gripping area for grabbing the railing in the center. The lower side portion has a decorative 11/64" quarter circle with 3/64" eased edges, the bottom of the design retains a 1-1/2" wide by 1/4" deep dado for balusters.
