This imperial 2-9/16" handrail measures 2.562" wide by 1.750" thickness, necessitating the use of eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The old world profile is composed of a 1-9/16" wide by 1/4" tall raised fillet with one-quarter inch rounded edges on the top, the sides consist of an ear-shaped cyma reversa made from a 3/8" radius arc tangent off of a 1-3/4" concave semicircle with a 3/64" eased edge on the lower sides, the width of the bottom is 2-1/16" wide.
