This partially round 2-1/2" - 30 handrail measures 2.500" in width by 1.125" in thickness, requiring a 2-3/4" wide blank of ten-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial molder. The semi-round profile comprises a 1-1/4" radius semicircular convex arc on the top and sides. The bottom retains a 1-3/8' wide by ½" deep dado for balusters and mounting hardware, leaving a 13/64" flat section on each edge.
