Handrail 2-3/8" - 7

This modern 2-3/8" - 7 handrail measures 2.375" width by 3.312" tall, requiring the use of glued-up pieces of five, six, or eight-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial-grade molder. The symmetrical contemporary profile contains a flat top with 23/32" rounded corners, the sides retain a 9/16" tall vertical fillet with a 1/8" rolled edge that joins to a 1-3/8" broad by 3/8" deep finger grip area with a 1/4" concave semicircle on top and a 7/16" cove below. Attached to a 1/2" high vertical line segment with a 1/8" by 1/8" chamfer on the lower corners, the bottom of the design maintains a 1-5/8" wide by 3/8" deep dado for balusters.
