This dome-shaped 2-3/8" - 6 handrail measures 2.375" width by 2.375" tall, necessitating the use of glued-up pieces of five, six, or eight-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The half-circular profile contains a 1-3/16" radius convex round arc on top. The unique symmetrical sides have a 3/4" tall by 5/16" deep channel with 1/4" concave corners that create the finger gripping area that transitions into a 1/4" tall fillet with a 1/8" rollover and 3/64" eased corners, the bottom of the design maintains a 1-1/4" wide by 1/4" deep dado for balusters.
