This bread loaf-shaped 2-3/8" - 5 handrail measures 2.375" wide by 2.375" thick, necessitating the rough lumber blank be glued together from four-quarter lumber to a 2-5/8" squared dimension. This profile is composed of a three-tangent radius semicircular arc on top. The sides consist of a two tangent radius cyma recta with a 5/16" tall half-round bead and a 9/32" tall vertical line with a 3/64" eased edge; the bottom retains a one-inch wide by one-quarter inch deep dado flanked by a 9/32" broad segment on each side.
