Handrail 2-5/16" - 7

This sturdy 2-5/16" - 7 handrail measures 2.312" width by 3.125" thickness, necessitating the use of glued-up pieces of four, five, or six-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The beautiful artistic profile contains a 1-23/64" radius semicircle making the width slightly over two inches wide on top. The symmetrical sides consist of a 33/64" convex arc tangent to a 1-23/32" radius concave semicircle connected to a 15/32" cove, creating the finger grip area in the center. Attached to a 5/8" tall vertical line segment with rounded corners and a small ogee on the lower edges of the design. The bottom retains a 1-1/4" wide by 1/4" deep dado for balusters, leaving a 9/32" flat section on each side edge.
