This unique 2-1/4" - 4 handrail measures 2.250" width by 2.031" thickness, necessitating glued-up pieces of four-, five--, or six-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial-grade molder. The attractive custom profile contains a bidirectional three-tangent radius wave-like top. The sides retain a 1/2" tall semi-elliptical-shaped bead flanked by small vertical fillets with a 3/64" eased edge where they meet the top. The finger grip consists of a 5/8" vertical congee derived from a 3/16" cove in the center, attached to another more defined elliptical half-circle and a 1/8" fillet with a 3/64" eased corner at the bottom of the design.
