This bulb-shaped handrail 2-1/4" - 26 measures 2.250" wide by 2.437" tall, allowing the detail to be machined out of two glued-up pieces of five-quarter lumber. The distinguished profile is composed of a 1-11/16" radius semicircular convex arc on top, tangent to a 1-7/8" concave curvature that forms the finger gripping area when held, attached to a decorative 1/4" tall half round bead and a 1/4" vertical fillet with 3/64" eased edges on the bottom side of the design.
