Handrail 2-1/4" - 14

This unique handrail 2-1/4" - 14 measures 2.250" wide by 4.250" tall, permitting the pattern to be machined out of glued-up pieces of four, five, and six-quarter lumber. The striking profile comprises a three-tangent radius elliptical-shaped arc on top. The sides retain a 15/32" concave arc tangent to a 1-1/2" curvature creating the gripping area in the center, the edge taper inward by 5.123 degrees joined to a tiny sunk fillet and a 5/16" tall bullnose on the bottom sides.
