This hourglass-shaped handrail 2-1/8" - 5 retains a 2-9/32" convex arc on the top. The symmetrical sides include 1/4" round-overs on both the top and bottom corners. The smooth finger grip area in the center is derived from a 1-1/64" concave semicircle tangent to the rounded edges. The pattern measures 2.125" in width by 2.375" tall. The recommended rough wood rip size using ten-quarter lumber is 2-5/8" wide.
