This WM 230 handrail 1-11/16" provides firm support when people ascend or descend staircases. The traditional pear-shaped profile comprises a 1-19/32" radius top that transitions into two tangent radiuses forming the finger grip area on the side edges. The bottom dimension is 1-1/16" wide with 3/64" eased corners. This area is for hardware to secure the railing to a bracket installed on the walls. The detail measures 1.687" in width by 1.563" tall. The recommended rough wood rip size using eight-quarter lumber is 1-15/16" wide.
