7/16" Half Round

This 7/16" half round measures .437" wide by .219" thickness, with a .229" depth of cut on the top horizontal cutters. Caution; the knives will come within .010" of the moulder bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a sacrificial bed plate be used.

The creative profile is comprised of two 7/16" wide half-round profiles with a 5/32" wide splitter in the middle of the pattern. As with every split moulding operation, we recommend installing an anti-kickback device on the moulder before attempting to mill any of our multiple profiles. These profiles are not intended to be used for milling a bullnose detail; it has no blend area in the knife design because it is milled from the top horizontal cutter head. Please search our bullnose profiles for nosings that mill from the right and left vertical moulder spindles, these patterns have blend areas built into the cutters.
