3" Half Round

This 3" half round measures 3.000" wide by 1.500" thickness, and the profile is comprised of a 1-1/2" radius arc. The detail is so large it can not be milled on an industrial molder with one single set of knives. We have balanced the cuts by milling on both the right and left vertical spindles and the top cutter heads; this will allow the machine bed plates and chip breakers to reduce the cutting circle resulting in a superior milled product. We always provide good blend areas in the knife design; no one will ever realize where one cutter begins or ends.
