1-7/8" Half Round

This 1-7/8" half-round measures 1.875" wide by .937" thickness, and the profile consists of a single 15/16" radius arc. Please take note that half-rounds should not be confused with a bullnose; the reason is it has no blend areas built into the knives half rounds are generally milled by the top cutterhead and have no blend areas because they come within .020" of the bed plates on the machinery, bullnose, on the other hand, are most often milled from side vertical cutterheads and have a substantial blend area designed into the knives to be able to blend into the top and bottom without ever noticing the blend area on the actual workpiece.

Caution: The knives will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when cutting this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
