6" Full Round

This six-inch entire round column is constructed of six 3.000" wide by 1.250" semicircular arched pieces, allowing the detail to be machined out of six-quarter lumber. Each section retains a 1/2" wide by 11/64" deep tongue and groove joint with a three-inch radius arc at the top. After milling, the pieces are glued together and secured with banding straps until the glue dries. We suggest using wax paper or plastic shrink wrap under each band to eliminate staining of the wood species and keep the strapping from adhering to the wood.
