Fluted 4-1/2" - 4

This decorative 4-1/2" - 4 fluted chair rail measures 4.500" width by .687" thickness, permitting the use of four quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The grooved profile contains four 5/8" wide concave semicircles divided by five 7/32" wide line segments in the center. The remaining portion retains a two tangent radius ogee derived from a 3/16" concave and convex semicircle joined to a 3/32" flat line segment, leaving a 5/16" thickness dimension on each side edge of the design. The recommended rough wood rip size using four-quarter lumber is 4-3/4" wide.
