Door Jamb 3/4" - 7

This interior 3/4" - 7 door jamb measures .750" in thickness, permitting the pattern to be machined out of four-quarter lumber, and widths are milled to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery used to cut the detail. The most typical width sizes are 4-9/16" wide for a 2" x 4" frame with 1/2" sheetrock wall, 5-1/2" wide for a 2" x 4" frame with stucco or thick drywall, and 6-9/16" wide for a 2" x 6" frame, or block wall. The profile is comprised of 1/8" round-overs on the top, joined to a 1/4" tall, straight flat line on the sides for the door casing to seat on when installed. The pattern tapers back 9.462 degrees to the remaining thickness of the design.
