Stop 5/8"

This 5/8" chamfered edge glass stop measures .625" wide by .375" thickness, enabling the use of four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The beveled edge profile is comprised of a 1/2" broad horizontal segment on the top, attached to a seventy-one and one-half degree angled line on the inside edge of the design as illustrated in the above image. Utilize fall-off rips of lumber while doubling production in half the amount of time with this unique knife design.

Caution: the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations types. We strongly suggest installing an anti-kickback device on the machinery to address safety concerns before attempting milling procedures involving splitting lumber into multiple pieces.
