Stop 3/8" - 2

This small glass stop moulding 3/8" - 2 measures .375" wide by .312" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined from resawn five-quarter or fall off rips of four quarter lumber. Due to the minimal width, the profile is milled two simultaneously, doubling production half the time. The simplistic profile is composed of a 1/8" wide flat line on top, connected to a 37.853 degree beveled line that transitions the thickness to 1/8" on the thin side of the pattern.

Caution; the cutters will come within .015" of the machine's bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations types. We strongly suggest an anti-kickback device be installed on the machinery for safety concerns before attempting any milling procedures that involve splitting lumber into multiple pieces.
