Door Cope & Stick 1-3/4" - 58

This door cope profile was created for a door measuring 1-3/4" thickness; the profile is symmetrical and consists of three cascading steps about 1/2" in total depth; the groove was designed to fit a 1/2" thickness panel. Please note that all our door cope designs have a slight five-degree taper added to the design to enable many sharpenings of the knives without changing the profile dimensions. You would have to taper the edge of the panel, or it will reveal a gap on both sides between the panel and the moulding when the panel is inserted. This is caused by the groove being out of square, the gap size is greater based on the depth of the groove, this one is .022" per side or .044" total.
