This custom interior door cope & stick 1-3/4" - 49 measures 1.750" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined out of eight-quarter lumber; the width can be milled to any desired size within the parameters of the molder or shaper used to cut the pattern. The fancy male and female symmetrical profile is composed 5/8" wide by 1/2" tall tongue & groove in the center, there is a .006" void in the entire joint to allow excess glue to escape when assembled, and the upper and lower portions consist of a two tangent radius ogee with a 3/32" vertical step and a 7/64" quarter round arc.
