Dentil 2-1/2"

This luxurious dentil 2-1/2" measures 2.500" wide by 1.000" thickness requiring five-quarter lumber to mill this design properly. The profile consists of a 1/2" wide by 1/4" deep rabbet on one side of the pattern, attached to a 1" wide raised fillet, joined to a two-step line that transitions into a cyma reversa on the thin side.

Dentil mouldings are labor-intensive to manufacture. This detail requires the crosscuts to be positioned 1" apart to create a 1" square block in the pattern.
