Crown 8-3/4" - 4

This huge 8-3/4" - 4 stepped crown mould measures 8.750" wide by 1.062" thick, necessitating a 9" wide blank of five-quarter lumber for milling, sprung (lying flat) on an industrial moulder. The beautiful terminating profile comprises a 1-1/4" tall vertical line joined to a 1/4" by 1/4" notch with a 1/4" broad flat line on the upper left. The short line attaches to a 4-5/32" long splay face line, connected to a 1/4" wide by 5/16" tall squared line, merged with a 1" tall and a 1-1/4" tall downstep, with a 7/8" flat line at the bottom right corner of the pattern. The spring angles are set to 25 and 65 degrees; the back-cut designs are included in the downloadable DXF file available for purchase below. These precise back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the height position at 7-13/16" tall with a 3-15/16" projection across the top.
