Crown Mould 8-5/8" - 4

This huge crown moulding 8-5/8" - 4 measures 8.654" width by 1.250" thickness, requiring an 8-7/8" wide blank of six-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial moulder. The extravagant terminating profile comprises a 25/32" tall line joined to a 29/32" cove on the top left. The concave semicircle attaches to a 3/4" by 1/2" perpendicular notch attached to a two tangent radius cyma recta comprised of two 1-9/16" partial circles in the center. The remaining portion consists of a 1/2" vertical line connected to a 1/2" by 3/4" perpendicular notch with a 13/16" cove and a 1/4" flat line segment on the bottom right corner. The spring angles are at forty-one & forty-nine degrees; this allows the three high points in the pattern to be on the same level plane, providing optimal hold-down conditions during machining. The dedicated back bevels also keep the face sides of the pattern parallel to the wall and ceiling after installation. These specific angle positions set the height at 6" tall with a 6-1/4" projection across the top.
