Crown Mould 8-5/8" - 3

This elegant 8-5/8" - 3 crown mould measures 8.625" width by .750" thickness, necessitating the use of an 8-7/8" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial molder. The embellished profile contains a 3/8" tall vertical line joined to a shallow ogee flanked by horizontal line segments on the top left. The short segment connects to a two tangent radius cyma reversa merged with a 1/4" squared notch in the center. The remaining portion of the pattern consists of a 53/64" tall convex bead attached to a 25/32" cove bordered by a horizontal and vertical fillet with a set of perpendicular lines on the design's bottom right side. The fixed spring angles are set at twenty-seven and sixty-three degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 7-5/8" tall with a projection of 4-1/32" across the top.
