Crown Mould 8-5/8"

This elaborate 8-5/8" crown mould measures 8.634" width by 1.250" thickness, requiring an 8-7/8" wide blank of six-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The sophisticated terminating profile comprises a 43/64" tall line joined to a 2-13/64" cove on the upper left. The concave semicircle attaches to three different-sized notches with three vertical and four horizontal line segments in the center. The remaining portion of the pattern composes a two tangent radius ogee made from 7/16" semicircles joined with a 9/16" flat line on the bottom right corner. The fixed spring angles are at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, in addition to locking in the height at 6-9/16" tall with a 5-5/8" projection across the top.
