Crown 8-1/4"

This gorgeous 8-1/4" crown mould measures 8.250" width by 1.062" thickness, necessitating five-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial molder. The bold terminating profile contains a 49/64" tall vertical line segment on the top left. The straight line connects a three-inch concave semicircle tangent to a three-inch radius convex arc, forming the cyma recta in the center. The s-shaped curvature joins a 1/4" tall by 15/64" broad perpendicular lines merged with a shallow two tangent radius ogee and a 19/32" horizontal segment on the bottom right side of the design. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 6-1/2" tall with a projection of 5-1/16" across the top.
