Crown Moulding 7-1/16" - 4

This traditional crown molding 7-1/16" - 4 measure 7.071" width by 1.062" thickness, necessitating the use of a 7-5/16" wide blank of five-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial molder. The long-established profile comprises a 13/16" tall vertical line segment on the top left. The straight line attaches to a 2-7/32" radius concave semicircle tangent to a 2-7/8" convex arc forming the cyma recta in the center. The s-shaped curvature connects to an 11/16" tall by 13/16" wide perpendicular lines on the design's bottom right side. The set spring angles are at forty-five degrees; these dedicated back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height & projection at an identical five inches tall and wide.
