Crown Moulding 7" - 21

This elegant crown molding 7" - 21 measures 6.978" width by 1.000" thickness, requiring the use of five quarter lumber for machining sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial-grade molder. The gorgeous terminating profile contains a 5/8" vertical line segment on the top left. The tall fillet connects to a two-inch radius concave semicircle tangent to a 1-21/64" convex arc creating the cyma recta in the center. The lower portion consists of a 1/2" tall by 1/4" wide perpendicular lines, merged to a 3/4" convex arc tangent to a 3/4" concave semicircle forming the cyma reversa with a 5/8" broad flat bottom on the right corner of the design. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 5-7/16" tall with a projection of 4-3/8" across the top.
