This large 6-7/16" - 1 crown mould measures 6.437" wide by .937" thickness, requiring five-quarter lumber to properly mill this detail on a moulder. The profile consists of a cyma recta with an attached fillet at the top and a stepped fillet with a connected ogee or cyma reversa positioned at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees, which sets the installed height at 4-3/32" tall with a projection of 4-31/32" wide. The design points are positioned on the same level plane, creating superior hold-down conditions while milling the pattern on an industrial moulder.
