Crown 6-3/8"

This traditional 6-3/8" crown mould measures 6.364" across by 1.063" thickness, necessitating the use of five-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial-grade molder. The colonial-themed terminating profile contains a 1-1/4" vertical line segment on the top left. That line joins a graceful two-tangent radius s-shaped curvature known as a cyma recta in the center and is connected to a 27/64" tall line merged with a 29/32" cove and a 9/16" broad fillet on the bottom right side of the design. The spring angles get fixed at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the exposed face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, as well as set the oriented height at 5" tall with a projection of 3-15/16" on top.
