Crown 6-1/32"

This large 6-1/32" concave crown mould measures 6.021" width by .813" thickness, requiring a 6-5/16" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The lovely supporting profile comprises a 29/64" quarter-round convex arc joined to a 5/32" vertical line segment on the top left. The short line attaches to a 5-45/64" cove in the center, merged with a 17/64" tall half circle connected to a graceful 3/8" radius ogee with a 3/8" broad line on the design's bottom right corner. The spring angles are at thirty-five and fifty-five degrees; they are included in the downloadable dxf file available below. The dedicated back bevels keep the face sides of the pattern parallel to the wall and ceiling. These specific angle positions lock in the installed height at 4-13/16" tall with a 3-5/8" projection across the top.
