Crown 6" - 1

This 6" - 1 colonial crown mould measures 6.010" width by .812" thickness permitting the use of four-quarter lumber for machining sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial-grade molder. The ordinary terminating profile contains a 1/2" tall vertical line segment on the top left. Attached to a two-inch radius concave semicircle tangent to a 2-1/2" convex arc creating the graceful cyma recta in the center. The lower portion retains a 15/32" vertical line joined to a one-inch cavetto, with a 1/2" flat line on the bottom right side of the design. The set spring angles are at forty-five degrees; these dedicated back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 4-1/4" tall with a projection of 4-1/4" across the top.
